This slow-growing heirloom beet takes most of the summer to produce an unusually large root which stores well over the winter. No matter what the size however, it remains tender and delicious. The abundant crop of leaves can be used for greens. ~80 seed pods per packet (each seed pod contains 2-5 seeds)
